There was a 6.9 earthquake yesterday! It was the first time I had experienced it. We were in our classroom talking so we didn't notice it at once. It was funny how we all just sat/stayed where we are and didn't move much. I simply observed and felt excited lol one of my classmate told us to not panic, our principal asked us to get out to the grounds but we were all pretty much dumbfounded.
Good thing nothing really happened, just a shake and sudden blackout but that's that. My grandpa who was in our home didn't even notice! (even when he was outside when it happened; we didn't notice it at home too even though there were aftershocks and my dad said it could be because our house's foundation is very deep and doesn't get shaken easily. xD)
And because of that, a week of classes will most likely be irregular. I could say it's a blessing in disguise. Our principal also said that after the initial quake. We had a 101 on earthquakes and the Do's and Don'ts when there's an earthquake. (The last time I joined a drill was when I was in elementary.)
Anyway, other than that, semi-finals are over and I need to prepare for Entrance Exams. :> Wish me luck with that.
I actually took the Semi-finals off schedule because of the IT Whiz Challenge held around the same time as the exams, but sadly me and my partner didn't really got to join. We didn't get informed of the new schedule so when we went to the school who held the competition, we were already a day late. We took our time to tour the said school and then went to some places with my classmates who came. We went to a karaoke box (was my first time!) and sang our hearts out! xDD IT WAS FUUUUN <333
ah ok, do you get earthquakes a lot? I live in California, and people in the US always seem to think that we get a lot of earthquakes here...but..we don't XD;;
Keep doing well in school. I know you can! YATTA!!
but it got me excited lol. It's like a free ride 8DDI will! ♥
How are ya doin~??
I'm doing okay. Can't complain I suppose.
Haahaa~ xD; Hope you'll do well!
