I must say, I am truly blown away by this piece. The more I have looked at it, the more I have come to be impressed by what you have done here. I'll start from the back and work forward in my analysis.

First, the background: While very simplistic, it really helps set the tone. The combination of blue, white, and black colors and the variety of shades in which they come really captures the essence of a full moon at night. Even the way you shaded the snowflakes, making them brighter where the moonlight is brightest and darker where it fades, is realistic. You get the sense that it is a bright but chilly night.

Second, the characters: Nice work on their posture and relation to each other. The way they are holding hands evokes feelings of intimacy and tenderness. Kaito is holding Aoko gently. His expression is one of fondness. Aoko's expression is one of sweetness and, to me, vulnerability, yet she obviously feels safe with Kaito. The appear to be talking softly to each other and leaning in for a kiss. The moonlight makes their clothes glow and eyes sparkle, and their hair is gently moved by a breeze. It is a serene moment for them, and you have portrayed it superbly. My ONLY criticism would be the size of Kaito's hands, which seem ever so slightly too small. His hands look perfect otherwise.

Lastly, the colors and shading: I've already stated that you did an excellent job on the background, but the same applies to the characters. They look three dimensional and mesh with the background wonderfully. I am very, VERY impressed by your work and look forward to your future pieces.
